The New Tunnel at Hindhead

The new road tunel at Hindhead makes the A3 London to Portsmouth all dual carridgeway and now by passes Hindhead a well known bottleneck. The tunnel is one of the longest new bulid road tunnels in Britain. The course of the tunnel is not straight but full of bends.
