St Paul's Church, Tongham, dedicated 1866, has an organ from St Mary Abbot Kensington, where it was played by Mozart. Sir Peregrine Maitland (1777-1854), who commanded the 1st Brigade of Guards at the Battle of Waterloo (1815), is buried in the churchyard. (Photo taken 24 December 2003 by David H. Ionic cross at grave of Sir Peregrine Maitland (1777-1854), by St Paul's Church, Tongham. Sir Peregrine was a Major General at the Battle of Waterloo (1815), where he commanded the 1st Brigade of Guards. He later seved as Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and Governor of the Cape of Good Hope. (Photo taken 24 Dec. 2003 by David H.
