This is a thrilling museum, where now that Concorde is retired, visitors can get the full Concorde experience without a costly flight!
Brooklands museum is located on the B374 south of Weybridge, it is open on most weekdays throughout the year and is the place to come to savour a unique celebration of Britain's Aviation and Motorsport history.
The site at Brooklands was the birthplace of aviation and motorsport, it was the first purpose built motor racing circuit in the world, and the place from which an Englishman first flew in an aircraft.
The varied collection of aircraft at the site fully depicts Britain's proud aeronautic heritage, as does the huge range of motor vehicles. At this exciting venue, visitors can enjoy a restored motoring village, explore over 30 types of aircraft, enjoy the steepest section of the original Brooklands racing circuit and sample the refurbished 1907 clubhouse. As if this were not enough you can now book your ticket for a unique Concorde experience. On board you visit an exhibition at the rear of Concorde, enjoy a display of Concorde through the Decades, and finally take your seat for the "flight" to experience through technology the wonder that this triumph of the sky, once was. You will be talked through by a Concorde Captain from British Airways, whilst seeing the Mach Meter hit Mach 2.
Brooklands is not just for enthusiasts, it is for everyone, and is enjoyed by young and old alike. There are various events throughout the year, an onsite cafe, and a shop for souvenirs.
