Bramber Castle

Bramber Castle on a particularly clear winter night. Part of the remains of a Norman Castle, built around 1100 as an administrative hub for the Rape of Bramber. The Milky Way is visible behind the 76ft gatehouse tower. The site is popular for walkers and families, but also paranormal investigators, due to its many reports of hauntings including children begging for food, a riderless horse, Sir William De Lindfield and his lover, Lady Maud (Wife of William De Braose), who can be be heard calling for him.
