Emley Moor Mast viewed from the 3 Acres Inn

Although built in the early 1970s, Emley Moor Transmission Mast is still the UK's tallest structure, at 1,084 ft and is a prominent landmark for many miles around. Its said that the TV signals can be received in the Urals of Western Russia, although the internet and wifi have reduced that kind of detail to a historical footnote. The tower has however been awarded Grade II Listing for its historical significance.
