Chichester Cathedral Tudor Paintings

These pictures were painted in the 16th Century on wooden panels and represent a magnificent example of Renaissance art. They are of National importance. They contain images of Kings and Queens and of King Henry VIII conferring Royal protection on Chichester Cathedral. Believed to be the largest surviving paintings of their kind, they are on display in the Transepts of the Cathedral
