Worcester Cathedral: the choir ceiling

Worcester Cathedral has been the seat of a bishopric since the 7th century, and was served by monks until the Reformation. St Oswald and St Wulfstan were among the bishops. Since the 18th century, the Cathedral has been famous for its part in the annual Three Choirs Festival, the oldest choral festival in existence. Sir George Gilbert Scott supervised extensive renovation work in the 19th century.
