Englefield House

Englefield House is a private residence that has its' origins back to Norman times, though the current building is of 17th & 18th century construction. It was painted by John Constable in 1832. The current family has been here for 300 years.

Nice to see this. My husband's grandmother was a housemaid here in the early 1900s.
