Standing apart from its modern commercial neighbours on Tintagel's main street, this low-set 14th-century yeoman's farmhouse exudes charm and beckons the curious to explore. Inside, one room is restored to show how it looked when, for a brief time in the late 19th century, it was used as the local letter receiving station. The remaining rooms are furnished with local oak pieces and a good collection of samplers from the same period. Outside, the small enclosed cottage garden offers a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of the busy village street.
