Sturminster Newton in Dorset

The walkway over the weir can be used as a direct link to the Stour Valley Way. This is a long-distance route from Christchurch, where the rivers Stour and Avon converge into the sea. It follows the river for sixty four miles, up to Stourhead, a National Trust Estate which contains the source of the Stour within it's famous gardens.
