The Wenhaston Doom
The Doom painting was originally fixed at the Chancel Arch, it was painted on board which was whitewashed over in the mid 1500s. In 1892 it was removed to the Churchyard ready for a bonfire, but overnight there was heavy rain which revealed this fantastic painting. Interesting information can be found by typing in Wenhaston Doom into the Google search engine.
