Painshill Park

A view across the lake and towards the grotto at Painshill Park. Painshill Park was created in the 18th century as a romantic landscape by a painter - Hon Charles Hamilton. After suffering significant decay due to years of neglect the park was restored to a Grade I landscape. It remains one of the unique landscape parks in Europe.
