Stonor House and Chapel

The Stonor family (at present headed by the 7th Lord Camoys) have resided here for around 850 years. At the right of the picture is a Roman Catholic Chapel, belonging to the house. Stonor was one of the many places of Catholic recusancy in England and St. Edmund Campion had a clandestine printing press at Stonor House.

You found a lovely vantage point for this photo. So well preserved if it is 850 years old! It looks as though you managed to add your pictures of Stonor and fill an "Awaiting pictures" green box, well done!
