Bradgate House ruins

Looking East across the park to the ruins. Construction began by Sir John Grey of Groby around 1460. Thomas Grey, the 2nd Marquess of Dorset, greatly enlarged the house in the early 1500s as part of an intense rivalry with George, Baron Hastings.
