Reading Prison as seen from the Abbey Ruins

HM Prison Reading is now decommissioned, but apart from the occasional exhibition, is not open to the public. Its most notable inmate was Oscar Wilde, whose poem the 'Ballad of Reading Gaol' was published in 1898.

Interesting image of where Oscar spent some of his time. I might have been tempted to crop out a little on the right hand to make the tree less dominating.
