The Hartlepool Stag

Although this looks like a stag on a mountain above the clouds, it is in fact a statue by the boat marina at Hartlepool in County Durham. The sun was in just the right place and there was a fog bank out at sea so i stood on a bench to get the right height and - - bingo! The name Hartlepool means the place where the Harts (stags) came to drink.
