The Terracotta Sphinxes at Crystal Palace

When the remains of Crystal Palace were moved from Hyde Park to Sydenham in south London, three Grand Terraces were built as a setting and each was decorated with a pair of Terracotta painted Sphinxes, copied from an original Egyptian red granite sculpture.
