South Phoenix Mine

Housemans shaft engine house housed a 50" pump, it is in good condition today. It presents an odd appearance with the bob wall having been built up for the time the building was used as a dwelling. Today it houses a visitor centre for the Minnions mining area, which is part of the World Heritage Site that covers 10 specific sites of industrial archaeology in Cornwall and east Devon.
