The Junction

Saul Junction, the junction of the Gloucester/Sharpness canal and the old Stroudwater canal which beyond Stroud became the Thames/Severn canal and provided a link between these two mighty rivers, the Severn at Sharpness and Gloucester, the Thames at Lechlade, its highest navigable point.
