Tomb of a child in Holywell Cemetery, Oxford

The tomb is of a child, Lewis Theodore Pilcher, aged 4 years and 2 months, who was drowned along with his nurse Elizabeth Sibley at Medley Weir in May 1893. The marble casket is adorned with fine copperwork. Unfortunately the end panels are missing, presumably stolen or vandalised.

I like this rather sad but striking memorial. The way you have balanced the exposure in this against the light shot makes it all the better.
