St Chad's church, Shrewsbury, seen from 'The Quarry'. St Chad's is a Georgian church, built after the collapse of the original St Chads on a site in the town centre. Unusually, the church is circular (it would make a great skating rink!), it wasn't really what was intended, but it was one of the Architect's initial designs, and he managed to bounce the committee into accepting it when he threatened to charge more to create drawings for the preferred design!
