Norwich Cathedral, Norfolk

Arthur Mee once described Norwich Cathedral as being the 'precious stone set in an Ancient See'. Only Salisbury has a higher spire. Poised on the top of the spire, 315 feet from the ground is a golden chanticleer which flashes on a sunny day against blue skies.
