Reflecting on the Flooding

This is a spot where the River Mole had burst it's banks on Christmas Eve, had I been here then the water would have been well over my knees, as it is the water level is still high and areas such as this isolated patch of water ( one of many ) are dotted all over the place. This was an area where there was a rescue mission on Christmas Eve involving the Fire Service to save a number of horses cut off by the rising water- I am glad to say all horses were safely brought to safety.

Glad to hear they got all the horses to safety Vince. It's a great shot, I like the light coming through the tree and reflecting on the flood water.
