Willow Herb & Echinops

“At my home in the Herefordshire Wye Valley Shipley Gardens , I grow the tall wild pink Rose Bay Willow Herb of rough ground (Epilobium angustifoliun) intermingled with the tall white Golf ball heads of (Echinops sphaerocephalus). Both self seed. As the Golf balls turn white and commence to attract insects, they intermingle with the cotton wool seed formations of the Pink Willow Herb. Best photographed when enveloped in early morning dew & best seen at the beginning of August . Open every day as Tourism Tea Rooms & Gardens from April to October."
