Hardy's Dorset

At the opposite end of the Melbury Estate to Evershot is Melbury Osmond. The village is unspoilt and picturesque with many Oak trees. It is well worth walking down from the Church to the water splash and even beyond, to admire the 17th century thatched stone cottages.
