Dandelions

While many people think of the common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) as a pesky weed, herbalists consider it a valuable herb with many culinary and medicinal uses for much of recorded history and are thought to have evolved about thirty million years ago. Alternative names are Lion's tooth, Priest's crown, and Swine's snout.
