A picture of The Kilns

The Kilns, in Risinghurst, Oxford. This is the former home of author C.S. Lewis, who lived here from 1930 until his death in 1963. The grounds surrounding the Kilns with its pretty woodlands and lake are where Lewis drew inspiration for his classic childrens novel The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
