White Lion, Ambleside

The White Lion pub in the centre of Ambleside serves a fairly good selection of beverages combined with good 'pub grub' at very reasonable prices. We had Christmas Lunch there back in 2010 and it was absolutely spot on at only £35 each which we thought was very good value. The Queens hotel which can just be seen behind was charging nearer £45

Missed going in here on our last visit, spent to much time in the "Rule"
