The Dreadnought and Dreadnought Reach, Reading

This section of the River Thames is known as Dreadnought Reach, taking its name from the old pub called 'The Dreadnought' seen at the right of the picture. Unfortunately for riverside walkers 'The Dreadnought' ceased trading as a pub many years ago and is now used by Reading University as a rowing centre.
