This is a classic compostion that an artist would use for a painting . You have a definite eye for composition.Class photo.I'm just wondering if youre also an artist.

oops double post seems to happen when you hit refresh. Any way I'll add a bit more. If anyones heard of the golden section in art which is roughly a spiral thing dividing the canvas into 3rds this photo has it. the spiral starts at top right on edge of lope goes down then spirals back with large boulder and right edge of stream .That big boulder in the foreground totally lifts it from commonplace to inspired. PS sorry for waffling or if im getting wordy didnt meant too GREAT PIC!

Nice shot Mick. Great find for your location. Did you convert this to B/W? My only fault I can see, I would have prefered a bit more contrast to bring out the darker highlights in the picture. This being a bit on the soft side.

Yes James it is a bit on the soft side this is a photograph of one of my 6x6 black and white negatives converted to a positive so some detail will have been lost
