Speke Hall

Speke Hall is over four hundred years old. The following I read in a publication called Weekend Wiley (this is supposed to be a Liverpool character) who was visiting Speke Hall with his wife and she said isn't it beautiful? Wiley replied fantastic but why did they build it so near to an airport.
