A Quiet Backwater...

Yards from the main road running through Thornton-le-Dale, I discovered this quiet scene. The only noise one could hear was the quacking of the ducks! I sat for a while and took the scene in before returning to the hussle and bussle of this busy little village. Picture taken in June 2007.

This reminds of the Thomas kinkade painting "A Quiet Evening" I wonder if he was inspired by this actual setting. Wonderful Photograph,it seems almost too ideal! I would love to live there.
