Stannington

The village spread out on the nearest of the three skylines is Stannington, where I grew up in the 40s to 60s. The Rivelin pub on Tofts Lane sits just left of centre and is a pub liked a lot. The rocky outcrop just above the pub has a cliff shaped like a face and is called "The Old Man of Stannington". Many happy memories just looking at the details in the old photograph.
