'Rest And Be Thankful' is the inscription carved around the back of this seat. It's situated under a Horse Chestnut tree, just outside the village. The old seat had become frail and damaged and the Parish Council contracted to have a copy made by a local company. It's good to see that we still have local craftsmen, who are capable of such high quality workmanship.
