Home Guard at the Stag Inn.

I am among other things, connected with Rotherhams past researching the Home Guard. This is a picture taken at the Stag Inn which was the base of B company. The sign was painted in 1940 and the three miscreants, home guard guys are Pike on the left, Corporal Jones in the middle and Captain Mainwaring on the right.
