Thatcham, Berkshire

The Nature Discovery Centre was opened in 1995. It is a designated Special Area of Conservation and also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Nearby under the reed beds is of archaeological interest, with flint tools of Megalithic ( Middle Stone Age ) man of 10,000 years ago discovered under the peat.
