Dark Green Fritillary (Speyaria Aglaja) Male in Whiteley Woods

We don't seen many Fritillaries in Whiteley Woods, although we do see a few of Britain's most common one, the Dark Green Fritillary. The woodland is adjacent to a large meadow and the whole area has a good supply of the Fritillary's main food source, thistles and Knapweed.
