6 spot Burnet Moth in Whiteley Woods

The 6 spot Burnet (Zygaena filipendulae) is is a common day flying moth, black with 6 prominent red spots on each forewing. It mostly inhabits grasslands, but will also be seen on roadside verges and woodland rides.
