Apothecary's Tower

The tower sits on the high point of Sron a' Mhill, overlooking Portree harbour, loch and bay. It was erected by Dr. Ban, who also laid out the trees and gardens in this part of the village. It is said to have been built as a sign to passing seafarers that medical supplies and expertise are available in the village.
