The Ring of Brodgar

The stone ring is a true circle, almost 104 metres in diameter. Originally there were 60 megaliths but today, only 27 stones remain, varying in height from 2.1 to 4.7 metres. The Ring of Brodgar is the third largest stone circle in the British Isles, beaten only by the outer ring of stones at Avebury and the Greater Ring at Stanton Drew in England.
