Pitlochry, Perth & Kinross
© David Swann (view gallery)
A few miles beyond Pitlochry this is the Queen's View, a vantage point looking down the length of Loch Tummel to the mountain called Schiehallion. Queen Victoria visited this place and believed it was named after her, but it is more likely attributed to the 14th century Queen Isabella, wife of Robert the Bruce.
