South Stack lighthouse sits on a tiny islet off Holy Island, which is in turn off the west coast of Anglesey Island. The lighthouse opens for tourists and is accessible by 400 steps down the steep Holy Island cliffs, followed by a pedestrian bridge across to South Stack. The view from the top of the lighthouse is considered to be one of these island's best seabird watching sites and is very close to the RSPB centre at Elin's Tower.
