In the heart of Lake District National Park, this family-run Victorian guest house offers rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Ambleside’s pubs, shops and restaurants are only yards away. Full English and continental breakfast options are served in the light dining room. All produce is locally sourced and includes fresh fruit, cereals and free range eggs. Packed lunches can also be arranged. 3 Cambridge Villas is only a 15-minute stroll from Lake Windermere and boat trips. Many fine walks and bike routes are available on all levels right from its door. Tennis, bowls and putting are also nearby. There is a bus stop at the rear of the 3 Cambridge guest house, which serves all the local areas. Local attractions such as Galava Roman Ruins, Bridge House and Homes of Football are all within walking distance.
