The family-run Ferndene Guest House offers high-quality bed and breakfast accommodations in Keswick, 10 minutes’ walk from the Theater by the Lake and Derwent Water. The building has mountain views, and Ferndene provides free parking and Wi-Fi and an extensive breakfast menu. Rooms include a flat-screen TV, radio alarm clock and tea and coffee facilities. Each has an en suite shower room with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. We offer a wholesome and mouth-watering breakfast to all our guests in order to set you up for a relaxing day in the beautiful Lake District. We aim to use the best of local and Fair Trade produce meeting individual needs as best we can. Our Ferndene special cooked Breakfast contains a large locally made Cumberland sausage curl, two rashers of fresh local Cumbrian bacon, grilled fresh tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, beans and scrambled eggs or fried eggs. Or, you could try our range of tasty Breakfast Baps with bacon and/or sausage. To complement your breakfast, we provide fresh toast (white, wholemeal or a mix) with a selection of spreads including jams, marmalades and honey. Fresh orange and apple fruit juices can be selected with your breakfast. A wide variety of hot drinks are available in your room for your enjoyment, including Fair Trade tea and coffee, an extensive range of Earl Gray, green, herbal and fruit teas and decaffeinated tea and coffee. We can cater for most dietary requirements (please ask for further details) and are pleased to offer many gluten free options and vegetarian and vegan variants of our breakfasts and baps
