About Jewel Cottage

Nestled on the edge of the Peak District National Park, Jewel Cottage offers self-catering accommodations in the Victorian Spa town of Matlock. Free on site parking is available to guests, and free WiFi is accessible throughout. Jewel Cottage dates back to 1743 and retains its classic stone exterior. Inside, the cottage is furnished to a modern standard, with a log burning fire, comfy sofas and brightly decorated guest rooms with super king beds. The living room has a flat-screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, microwave and fridge, and there is an outside area with table and chairs. Local bars, restaurants and shops are located within a 10-minute walk. The property is well placed for guests to take advantage of the walking and cycling paths of the Peak District. Chatsworth House is 8 miles from the cottage, while Hardwick Hall is a 30-minute drive away.
