About Overwater Hall

Against the stunning backdrop of Skiddaw and the Uldale Fells, this 18th-century country house is set within 18 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland. The restaurant features 2 AA rosettes, and guests can spot resident red squirrels, deer, and rabbits in the extensive grounds. Double-ended baths and separate showers fill each private bathroom in Overwater’s elegant rooms, along with fluffy bathrobes and designer toiletries. You can relax with fresh fruit and flowers, free mineral water, and free Wi-Fi access. Full English breakfasts are served each morning in the restaurant. Guests can also enjoy morning coffee and award-winning evening cuisine in a formal setting. Bassenthwaite Lake and Trotters World of Animals are both only a 5-minute drive away and scenic walks among the fells can be had in the lush, surrounding Lakeland. Nearby Keswick has a range of independent shops and a theater by the lake.
