About Pillarbox Cottage

Located in a converted Grade II listed barn, Pillarbox Cottage features a fully fitted kitchen, high ceilings and original beams still present from its 17th-century origins. Free private parking is available in the shared cobbled courtyard. Accessed via a spiral staircase, the bedroom features a gable window with views of Riber Castle, and also has exposed original beams. A heated towel rail and full-size bath are featured in the bathroom. A TV/DVD player and various books and games are provided for guests to enjoy. Matlock Bath village is a 5-minute drive and features the family theme park of Gulliver’s Kingdom, as well as museums and an aquarium. The main town of Matlock is 5 minutes on foot and features shops and cafés. The stately home of Chatsworth House and its impressive gardens can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
