About The Castle House

A luxury bed and breakfast overlooking Richmond Castle, The Castle House serves a glass of wine or tea/coffee to guests on arrival and there is free Wi-Fi throughout. With views of Richmond Market Square, each bedroom is stylish and individually decorated. Some rooms have a four-poster bed and all have luxury toiletries and bathrobes. The hospitality tray includes tea/coffee and a selection of biscuits as well as still and sparkling water. At night chocolates are left in small velvet pouches hanging on your door handle. In the morning, guests can enjoy a full English breakfast platter which includes bacon, fried egg, sausages, tomatoes, black pudding, mushrooms, beans and hash browns. All the food is locally sourced and freshly prepared. Darlington is a 20-minute drive from The Castle House and the Yorkshire Dales National Park can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Guests can park for free near the property.
