"A nice shot of the seafront with lots to see" - poe(3rd August 2019)

Grain Tower (1)
"A very interesting structure, well photographed, with an informative narrative. I am fascinated by these coastal defences, many of which are too substantial to demolish." - Edward Lever(3rd August 2019)

"Excellent interior shot of a most unusual church" - Paul V. A. Johnson(2nd August 2019)

"No need to apologise, Edward, you made a fair comment. Had I moved further down the street I could have paused to take a more full frontal shot - but then I would lose most of the right cliff/sea view. We live and learn all the time. No offence taken." - Mobscooter(2nd August 2019)

"Apologies for my misinterpretation, Mobscooter. I can understand that it's not always possible to get to the best vantage point when you are in your mobility scooter. I suppose you could partially crop off the gatepost, but this would also take out some of the house. There's not much else that can be done without resorting to Photoshop." - Edward Lever(2nd August 2019)

"Thanks for the comment, Edward. However, the "big item of street furniture in the lower left of the frame" is in fact the right hand gatepost of an access drive to the property next door. From the angle I was sat in my mobility scooter and inability to reposition because of parked cars, it would have meant cutting out the left of the white house." - Mobscooter(2nd August 2019)

"Potentially a very attractive shot, but spoiled by the big item of street furniture at the lower left of the frame." - Edward Lever(2nd August 2019)
