Black Swans visit Brotherswater
"Good shot showing nice details on the feathers (difficult with black colouring). I have seen quite a few black swans on the Thames and now they seem be appearing elsewhere. They originated from Australia and probably escaped from private collections here in the UK. They are more aggressive than the native mute white swan, with which they compete for food and habitat." - Edward Lever(11th December 2011)
